Lebanon Document Attestation Process for UAE
To be accepted in the UAE, Lebanese documents such as degrees, birth certificates, marriage certificates, and commercial documents must undergo the following steps:
- Document Translation (if required)
- If the document is in Arabic or another language, it must be translated into English or Arabic before attestation.
- Authentication by Lebanese Authorities
- Educational certificates must be verified by the issuing institution and the Lebanese Ministry of Education.
- Personal documents (such as birth, marriage, and death certificates) must be authenticated by the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
- UAE Embassy Attestation in Beirut
- The UAE Embassy in Lebanon verifies the document’s authenticity and applies its official attestation.
- Final Attestation by UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA)
- Once the document arrives in the UAE, it undergoes final verification by MOFA UAE, ensuring full legal acceptance.
